“Whatever After” Book Trailer
Concept, design and animation work for a Scholastic book trailer.
In this trailer for the popular YA series Whatever After, we wanted a bright, cheerful vector art style that matched the cover art. Using a whimsical scrapbook theme let us explore Abby’s adventures in Wonderland in a playful way, so we could flip pages, and fly through images. Most of the animation was done in After Effects, though Cinema4D and Xparticles enhanced some of the 3D imagery.
